We are near the end of October, which means you only have TODAY and TOMORROW to help us #CHOKEOUTCANCER by purchasing our pink gear, which is helping support The Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center! For the next two days, wear your pink shirts, belts, wraps, etc. and help us raise awareness for breast cancer.
Brett and Joy, long time members of SBG Alabama, are just one example of how breast cancer can affect those closest to you. Joy was diagnosed August of this year with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Every 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with this horrible disease and SBG wants to spread awareness and help those like our amazing Joy that may be in need.
October is Women’s Health Month, and a great time to remember that women owe it to themselves and their loved ones to make their health a priority. Women often put their families needs ahead of their own, ignoring minor symptoms year after year until they affect their health. Breast Cancer is one of many terrible diseases that can affect so many people in many different ways.One that hits very close to home is our long time member Brett and his wife Joy.
